Points for state pharmacy council
1. six members elected amongst themselves by registered pharmacist of state
2. Five members nominated by State Government of whom at least three shall be persons possessing a prescribed degree or diploma in pharmacy or pharmaceutical chemistry or registered pharmacists.
3. One member elected by the members Medical Council of State amongst themselves.

Points for joint state pharmacy council
1. As provided in the agreement not less than 3 and not more than 5 members elected amongst the registered pharmacist of each participating state.
2. As agreement provides, not less than two and not more than 4 members nominated by each participating State Government of whom more than half should possess degree or diploma in pharmacy or pharmaceutical chemistry or be a Registered Pharmacist.
3. One member elected by the members Medical Council from amongst themselves, of each participating state.
